(OLNEY) The Richland County TB & Health Office in Olney is reporting ten (10) new COVID-19 cases over the past week, since last Monday, May 3rd. The new numbers posted show 1,758 positive cases involving Richland County residents, with 46 deaths, 1,699 people recovered, 27 in quarantine due to contact, 13 current active positive cases all of which are in home isolation, and 4 people now hospitalized. There have been 27,548 COVID-19 tests conducted in Richland County, with 25,790 negative test results. For COVID-19 testing, contact the Carle Convenient Care Clinic, along Illinois Route 130, just west of the Olney City Park. It’s open from 8:00 each morning until 8:00 each night, seven days a week.

(OLNEY) The Richland County TB & Health Office in Olney will have COVID-19 walk-in vaccination clinics for the remaining three Thursdays in May at the TB&H Office on Whittle Avenue in Olney. That’s each Thursday with the Johnson & Johnson single dose available from 8:30 to 10:30 each morning and the Moderna first or second dose each afternoon from 1:00 to 5:00. These Thursday vaccinations are available for anyone age 18 and older with no appointment needed. Those planning to utilize these Thursday walk-in clinics in Olney can speed up the process by bringing their ID, insurance card, and a completed consent form.
