(OLNEY) The Richland County School Board had its regular monthly meeting for January last night in Olney. The Board : approved the December financial report with the bill listing at $1,581,584 : noted that the State of Illinois owes the District just under $1.3 million ($1,278,998) : heard the Annual State of the District Report as presented by Superintendent Chris Simpson and the administrative staff – the Report is available for public viewing on the District’s website at www.rccu1.net : heard an update from Poettker Construction on the RCHS Renovation Project : reviewed the monthly building reports : heard an update from Athletic Director Matt Music that the IHSA has now given in-season sports the opportunity to take part in intra-squad scrimmages while wearing face masks – the out-of-season sports can start their contact days this coming Monday, January 25 : and in personnel matters
