The Ekurhuleni metro police arrested a 32-year-old doctor over the weekend for clocking close to 180km/h in a 120km/h zone.

The woman, who was driving a Mercedes-Benz, refused to stop for law enforcement on the N12 near Alberton for exceeding the speed limit.
Metro police then called for backup and gave chase for at least a kilometre before she was corned near the Comaro off-ramp.
Spokesperson Kobeli Mokheseng says the woman told officers she was late for work.
“The furious lady offender stopped her Merc, in the middle of a freeway and as she alighted, she was already fuming and taking video clips (using her cellphone), of Officers without consent, violating their rights.
