The recent find of myrtle rust on a mature hedge in
residential Christchurch marks a new southern point for the
likely establishment of the disease. Previous sightings in
this area have been on plants purchased in nurseries in
other regions and relocated to Christchurch.

–The County of San Luis Obispo recently announced that Rebecca Campbell, the current County Administrative Officer (CAO) for Kings County, has accepted a job offer as the assistant county administrative officer for the County of San Luis Obispo.
Campbell has worked for the County of Kings since 2005, where she served as both the Assistant CAO and most recently as the CAO, since 2017. In this role, Campbell manages the day-to-day operations of all county functions and activities, which fall under the jurisdiction of the Board of Supervisors, including management of a $443 million budget.

Manitoulin OPP are asking for the public’s help in locating 49-year-old Rebecca Campbell, who was last seen in the area of Nelson Road in Gore Bay.
Campbell was reported missing on Friday.

She is described as white, approximately 5-foot-7, medium build, 135 pounds, with long blonde/brown straight hair and blue eyes.
She was last seen wearing a blue dress, blue apron, and a light blue rain coat.
Police are concerned for Campbell’s well-being.
