Work at Stouffer Field is starting to shape up.
The Ripon High Bathrooms/Bleachers Reconstruction Project recently included more work to the infrastructure – according to the Ripon Community Athletic Foundation, a pump system was just hooked up to the main sewer line – and concrete being poured for the walkway between the tennis courts and the JV baseball field.

Some come be quite generous. The Ripon Unified School District recently received a $5,000 check from an anonymous donor for the Science Camp Fund.
Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in Modesto – via a private foundation client – presented RUSD with the charitable contribution a few months ago.

The largest cluster of half-plexes ever built in Manteca 112 are being advanced for a project to convert what was a 184-acre grape vineyard into a new neighborhood with at least 739 homes.
They are basically duplexes that are built so each unit can be sold separately. It is the first project ever proposed south of the 120 Bypass that is neither a traditional free-standing single family home or an apartment complex.

Vince Hobbs is continuing the fight.
He’s referring to the ongoing challenge of making tough decisions during the unprecedented times of COVID-19 as a school board member of the Ripon Unified School District.
“There’s been plenty of collateral damage since we went to distance learning,” said Hobbs, who was recently elected to a two-year term.
He’s referring to those at-risk, special needs and others suffering academically and even psychologically from not having the regular in-person instructions during the stay-at-home period.
