The Sunshine Coast property market continues to remain one of the prime spots in Australia, with quarterly growth of 1.8 per cent with a median house price now $620,000, she said. The Coast also posted strong results with the second highest median unit price for the quarter of $445,000 with speculation this was being driven by a pandemic-triggered southern investment spree.

A Mackay man is now living in a fishing shack with an open roof after he and his former wife were looking for a place to call home since June.
Cookies Mowing owner Shane Demarco said it was the generosity of a client who offered the shack on their property to him.
âAll the roofâs opened up,â Shane Demarco said.
âFully opened all the way around.â
His former wife now lives with her mother and has their four-year-old son and their autistic 11-year-old daughter with her.
The father and his former wife lived separately in a house as co-parents, looking after their autistic daughter who has eczema.
