Aaron Jones didn t speak with Aaron Rodgers before re-signing with Packers By Zac Wassink | Last updated 5/25/21 Earlier this month, Green Bay Packers Pro Bowl running back Aaron Jones explained that he hadn t heard from teammate Aaron Rodgers since stories emerged ahead of the draft that the reigning NFL MVP didn t want to play another down for the organization.
Jones signed a four-year contract to remain with the Packers in March, and he told reporters Tuesday that Rodgers status had no impact on that decision.
Asked Aaron Jones if he ever had a conversation with Aaron Rodgers about the QB s future before signing his extension with #Packers. He said he did not, but it would not have changed his decision: This is home. This is where I love to be. Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) May 25, 2021
