It s the smell that hits you first. The scent of urine and decomposing bodies. Then you notice other signs: scuttles and squeaks, small dead bodies leaking blood, tails sticking out of hubcaps.
If you ve lived through a mouse plague, you ve seen this, and smelled the stench of mice dying of poison baits.

As a desperate measure to help combat the mouse plague devastating rural communities across NSW, the state government yesterday secured 5000 litres of bromadiolone. This is a bait that s usually illegal to roll out at the proposed scale.

The corporate watchdog and the sharemarket operator will probe potential stock manipulation in ASX minnow Credit Intelligence after the company found a potential campaign to suppress the stock a month after a Reddit-fuelled $800 million âpump and dumpâ rally.
The Perth-based debt restructuring business on Friday referred âirregular trading behaviourâ in its own shares to the Australian Securities Exchange and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
âThe company has investigated this matter fully and provided information to both the ASX and the ASIC to enable a full review,â the board of Credit Intelligence said. âAn update will be provided in due course.â
NAB, Nomura, PEP help Calibre refi Greensill debt

Engineering and contracting company Calibre Group has waved goodbye to collapsed financier Greensill, as part of a new funding package arranged by National Australia Bank.
Engineering and contracting company Calibre Group reported $486.2 million revenue and a $10.8 million profit in the 2020 financial year.

Street Talk understands Calibre has signed off on a $90 million refinancing, securing finance from NAB, Nomura, Pacific Equity Partners’ new Capital Solutions strategy and debt investors Wingate and Longreach Credit Investors.
Sources said the refinancing was aimed at taking out Greensill’s debt and would give the company funding power to grow its client book. NAB was arranger and is expected to be working capital facility lender.
