It is another dry and very warm day of weather across Alabama. We are seeing more clouds than sun at times, but despite the clouds, temperatures are heading into the mid-80s in most locations this afternoon.
Tonight will be a fair night with variable cloudiness, expect lows in the low and mid 60s.
TOMORROW/FRIDAY: Clouds will increase tomorrow across the state as a frontal boundary approaches the state overnight tomorrow night. Tomorrow will remain dry and very warm with highs again well into the 80s. Rain will return to Alabama tomorrow night as a band of showers pushes through the state early Friday morning. Little instability and weak dynamics means some rumbles of thunder are possible, but no severe storms. The rain will end early Friday as the front pushes into South Alabama. Rain amounts one-half inch are expected. Behind the front, Friday will be cooler with highs back in the 70s.

We started the day off with plenty of sunshine, but clouds are increasing as we head into the afternoon, and it is a very warm day with highs in the ranging from the low to upper 80s across Alabama today.
Clouds increase more tonight, as rain chances start to rise and a few showers are possible across West Alabama late tonight; lows tonight, mid-50s.
RAIN ON THE WAY: A cold front will approach the state tomorrow and tomorrow will feature more clouds, cooler temperatures, and scattered showers and a few storms, but thankfully no severe weather for much of the state. Best chance of a strong thunderstorm is over the southwest corner of the state, where SPC has a “marginal risk” (level 1/5) defined for Washington, Mobile, and Baldwin counties.
