Christmas Spectacular, Pavilion Theatre, Bournemouth

REVIEW: Christmas Spectacular is just what we need to lift our spirits IF ever we needed a bit of Christmas cheer - it s now. Thank goodness, then, for the irrepressible energy of the Glad Rag Production Company. The team have worked tirelessly to pull together a Covid-safe show in a bid to sprinkle some much-needed festive magic over Bournemouth. Usually staged at the Regent Centre in Christchurch, this year s Christmas Spectacular takes place at Bournemouth s Pavilion Theatre. Seating is Covid-secure – there are two empty seats between each household, as well as empty seats in front and behind, ticket holders are given allocated arrival times and asked to wear masks while in the building. A one-way system has also been set up so there is still access to the bar and toilets.
