On Tuesday, Bucks County Detective Greg Beidler testified that investigators received several new leads in the case after an April 7 news conference about it. He said detectives are investigating claims from potential new victims of Carey now.
In a news release, the DA s office said it strongly believes there are even more victims in the case. They re asking anyone with information to call Bucks County Detectives at 215-340-8216 or 215-348-6504.
Carey worked for Warminster Township from May 1989 until he retired from the police force in May of 2009. Prosecutors say he abused all four boys while he was an officer.
DOYLESTOWN, Pennsylvania (WPVI) A Bucks County, Pennsylvania mother allegedly sent deepfake photos and video of her teenage daughter s cheerleading rivals to their coaches in a bid to get them kicked off the team.
Investigators say 50-year-old Raffaela Spone was trying to get the girls kicked off the Victory Vipers, in Chalfont.
Spone is accused of manipulating photos from the social media accounts of three girls to make it look like they were drinking and smoking, and even digitally altered them to make the girls appear naked. The suspect is alleged to have taken a real picture and edited it through some photoshopping app to make it look like this teenaged girl had no clothes on to appear nude, when in reality that picture was a screengrab from the teenager s social media in which she had a bathing suit on, said Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub.
BENSALEM, Pennsylvania (WPVI) Authorities have identified the skeletal remains of a woman discovered 33 years ago at the old Publicker Distillery in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
On Tuesday, the woman was identified as 17-year-old Lisa Todd from Philadelphia. Authorities are still trying to figure out the circumstances surrounding her suspicious death. Pregnant ladies don t just fall into wells and die. Something happened, said Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub.
Authorities said in October 1985 an unidentified woman was reported missing in Philadelphia. In 1988, her skeletal remains were found in a well that used to be the Publicker Distillery along State Road in Bensalem.

BUCKINGHAM TWP., Pennsylvania (WPVI) Police say a prolific crime spree lasting more than a year is now over.
Buckingham Township police report the arrest of 32-year-old Keith Johnson of Yardley. He is accused of breaking into more than 1,000 cars across 13 municipalities in Bucks County and 10 municipalities in New Jersey. Just the sheer volume and the sheer geography and the scope of it - this was a very, very active criminal, said Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub. No place was left safe. He not only crossed county borders, he crossed state borders as well.
