Bucks DA, police search for driver in fatal crash that killed firefighter

Authorities are looking for the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a volunteer Bristol Borough firefighter Tuesday before fleeing the scene along Bristol Pike in Bristol Township. Danny Santiago, 53, of the borough, was found dead along side of the road early Tuesday morning. Those who called police did not see the fatal crash, Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub said Thursday Santiago was a beloved, lifetime member of Goodwill Hose Fire Co., where he served for 30 years.  Early Tuesday morning, he died when he was struck by a vehicle while riding his bike in the 5500 block of Bristol Pike in Bristol Township. The vehicle fled the scene, and no one had been arrested in the fatal crash of Thursday night.

Three sentenced to prison in Dublin meth operation On Monday, Annette Bickley, 58, Harold Bickley, 62, and Donna Rapoli, 57, were sentenced to prison. The three were among six who admitted guilt last month in the operation that ran out of Gary Lynn Moyer s home in the 100 block of Cherry Lane from April 2015 until November 2019. Annette Bickley, of Bedminster, wase sentenced to  3½ to seven years in state prison, as well as one year of probation, according to the Bucks County District Attorney s Office spokesman Manuel Gamiz Jr. Harold Bickley, also of Bedminster, was sentenced to four to eight years in state prison, as well as one year of probation, according to online court records.
