Mini Ibrox is simply the best way to mark Rangers big title day

A special replica of the stadium has been created by David Resnik, inset, to honour Rangers’ 55th league title RANGERS fans have the chance to net a unique piece of football memorabilia – a miniature Ibrox Stadium created to mark the club’s 55th league title. Supporters can get their hands on the one-of-a-kind model, which will be signed by manager Steven Gerrard and captain James Tavernier, in a new charity raffle. Complete with working floodlights, the famous main gates, tunnel and directors’ box, the specially commissioned version celebrates the historic achievement of the Light Blues this season, while coining cash for the team’s Charity Foundation.

Steven Gerrard s man management insight as Rangers boss leads by example at Ibrox

“I wanna be the type of manager who is always there for my players and my staff. “It can t always be football. I need to be that care and support for them from a lifestyle point of view as well. “We ve had to deal with many things here at Rangers and I had to do it too with my younger kids when I was the Liverpool Under-19s coach. You just want to support them in any way, shape or form to try to get them back in a better place. There are few who are born to win. Gerrard was born to lead, too, and he has had a transformative impact on and off the park at Ibrox during his three years as Rangers manager.

Rangers donate £12,500 to support global effort in delivering Covid-19 jags to vulnerable

The donation will contribute to the global agency s mission to distribute the jags worldwide.  Specifically, Rangers donation will deliver more than 9200 vaccine doses to health workers in countries like Malawi.  Connal Cochrane, Rangers Charity Foundation Director said: “We are immensely proud of our long-standing partnership with UNICEF whose global reach has been invaluable in this unprecedented global pandemic. We know we are fortunate to live in a country where the majority of adults have now been offered their first vaccination but things will only return to being more ‘normal’ when that is the case in many more countries. “I would like to thank all of our supporters who take on personal challenges, volunteer, donate and do so much to help all the charities we support every season. It is thanks to their commitment that we have been able to help UNICEF make sure health workers are vaccinated all over the world.”

Rangers fans raise £40,000 for homeless people in Big Ibrox Sleep Outs RANGERS fans raised tens of thousands for a homeless charity with their big Ibrox Sleep Outs . Fans took to their gardens, garages and balconies for one night under the stars, raising £40,000 for charity.  The huge figure will be split between the Rangers Charity Foundation and Glasgow City Mission s new Overnight Welcome Centre.  The centre provides a safe and warm place for people faced with rough sleeping and can fast-track people into accommodation.  Every £1,000 raised allowed Glasgow City Mission to open this vital centre for a day over the cold winter months - meaning fans funded 20 days of the centre.
