Even before his inauguration, President Joe Biden pledged to create new policies that would reform current ones under the Trump administration, leaving many citizens wondering if he d keep his promise.
As Biden entered the White House, his agenda for combatting issues took on both positive and negative reviews. Some Randolph County officials are unsure what to expect with the executive orders and are waiting for more regulations to be completed.
Kevin Franklin, president of Randolph County NC Economic Development Corporation, said he s uncertain of how he feels about the president s plans for the economy. Right now I can t really say that our organization wants more when more hasn t been done yet. We have to consider finances and what could be beneficial for the county s economic progress.
