A speedy fire-rescue boat from the City of Miami Fire Rescue Marine Operations Center at the Bayside Marina brought the victim into the No Name Harbor shore, where Key Biscayne Fire Department personnel escorted him to Mercy Hospital, six miles away, where he was initially listed in stable condition before being treated and released.

A young 6-year-old girl leaving her friend s birthday party on Saturday was struck dead after getting caught in a triple cross-fire, according to reports. Jan. 13 All southbound lanes on Florida s Turnpike have been blocked at Okeechobee Road since a predawn crash that ended with a tractor-trailer overturned near the Northwest 106th Street exit in North Miami-Dade.
As of 11:19 a.m., all lanes remained blocked. Drivers should consider the Palmetto Expressway, State Road 826, as an alternate route.
The crash happened at 5:15 a.m., the Florida Highway Patrol said. Overhead traffic video showed an SUV or minivan flipped onto its side, one of three other vehicles involved in the crash. All injuries in the crash are non-life threatening, FHP said.

Officers responded to Northwest 58th Street and 25th Avenue at approximately 6:23 p.m. Monday.
Upon arrival, Miami-Dade police said they found three men and a 17-year-old girl had been shot.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported all four victims to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Police said one of the males and the 17-year-old girl were listed in critical condition while the two other victims were stable.
“At this time, detectives don’t have a lot of information as to what brought about the shooting,” said Miami-Dade Police Det. Angel Rodriguez. “Detectives are trying to figure out if this was the result of a drive-by or two groups arguing.”
