House votes to cancel Trump’s ‘national emergency’ on the border; Sen. Rob Portman undecided on issue
WASHINGTON, D. C. - In an unprecedented rebuke of a chief executive, the U.S. House of Representatives voted largely along party lines Tuesday to override President Donald Trump’s declaration of a national emergency along the nation’s southern border.
All Democrats in the House of Representatives joined with thirteen Republicans to pass the measure by a 245 to 182 margin - far short of the number that would be required to override a likely presidential veto. None of Ohio’s Republicans supported the effort.
Visitors to the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force who are fully vaccinated beginning Saturday will not have to wear masks, but those who are not fully vaccinated against the coronavirus must continue to wear masks inside the museum.

Autism at Work, a collaborative effort between AFMC and Wright State University, is approaching its third year. It is designed to give the college student, or recent graduate, the opportunity to gain work experience in a paid summer-intern work program as an Air Force civilian.
“Autism at Work is a one of a kind initiative with the power to launch a student or pending graduate into a work environment which might be otherwise out of their reach,” said Kristine Billings, AFMC Affirmative Employment Program strategic advisor.

In support of updated Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines, fully vaccinated visitors (who are at least two weeks beyond their final dose) will no longer be required to wear masks when visiting the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force beginning May 15.
