Robertsville Middle renovations scheduled

Robertsville Middle renovations scheduled Oakridger Oak Ridge Schools Superintendent Bruce Borchers recently showed off some new designs for the exterior of Robertsville Middle School. “We get to do some exciting and fun things with Robertsville Middle School,” he said, speaking to a virtual audience at Altrusa International of Oak Ridge. “I’m just incredibly excited about this,” he said, describing the look of the school to be “much more modern.” The renovations for Robertsville Middle School include new, more energy-efficient windows and “roller shades” for them, new doors, and a new gray paint scheme rather than the current exposed brick. It will also include new handicapped parking spaces, sidewalks and curbs.

Letters to parents list COVID-19 infections at Oak Ridge Schools Oakridger Oak Ridge Schools Superintendent Bruce Borchers has stated in letters over the past few days that various students and staff at various schools have tested positive for COVID-19. On Wednesday, he reported one Jefferson Middle School student had tested positive who was last at a school building or event Feb. 5. In the same letter, he said two Oak Ridge High School students tested positive who were last in school buildings or events Friday, Feb. 19, and Wednesday, Feb. 24. As of Wednesday, no Oak Ridge Schools staff were currently positive but 0.19% of Oak Ridge Schools students were positive. All parties are currently isolated at home, Borchers stated in the letter.
