Gardaí say the driver of a car failed to stop at a checkpoint in Kanturk at around 5pm on Saturday. The car was followed as part of a managed containment operation and was observed being driven at high speed and on the wrong side of the road. The car came to a stop when it crashed at a roundabout in Raheen Industrial Estate in Limerick.
