COVID-19 Vaccination Appointments Rescheduled Due To Winter Storm

Feb 16, 2021 Due to the storm, the Monroe County Department of Public Health is rescheduling today s vaccination appointments at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center and the County Fleet Center. Those appointments are being moved to tomorrow at the Convention Center and Thursday at the Fleet Center. Meantime, Monroe County and City of Rochester COVID-19 TESTING this afternoon at Temple B’rith Kodesh and the Wilson Foundation is cancelled. Residents with a scheduled appointment for a test at either location can go tomorrow without an appointment to Jefferson High School between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. or Gates Memorial Park between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Categories of essential worker who will be able to schedule vaccinations through the link include: First Responder or Support Staff for First Responder Agency Corrections In-Person College Faculty and Instructors Employees or Support Staff of Licensed, Registered, Approved or Legally Exempt Group Childcare Settings Licensed, Registered, approved or legally exempt group Childcare Provider Public Transit Public Facing Grocery Store Workers, including convenience store and bodega workers Individual living in a homeless shelter where sleeping, bathing or eating accommodations must be shared with individuals and families who are not part of your household Individual working (paid or unpaid) in a homeless shelter where sleeping, bathing or eating accommodations must be shared by individuals and families who are not part of the same household, in a position where there is potential for interaction with shelter residents.
