ROCHESTER, Minn. - A Rochester Century graduate is still very much involved in a game he s loved for most of his life.
One Rochester Royals pitcher is grateful to be able to give back to his community and still be part of a game he loves so much. It s really special to be able to work with kids here in town, you know. Work with the kids that went to my high school. Work with kids that go to my elementary school. Working with kids, you know, just down the street has been awesome. To be able to see that come to fruition. It s grown faster than I ever thought it would have. It s been super rewarding, says Mitch Brown.
Moran, Simon Combine for Ten Goals as Huskies Stay Unbeaten
Big Nine Conference leading Owatonna (7-0) kept their unbeaten season going with a 14-4 girls lacrosse win over second-place Mankato (5-3) Monday at OHS. Anni Moran scored six times. Audrey Simon tallied four goals. Madi Bruessel notched two goals. Grace Smith and Allie Keller each had a goal. Zoe Anderson got her seventh win.
Moran s 35 goals has her ninth in the state in scoring according to the Lacrosse Hub at the
Star Tribune. She also has nine assists. Simon is 17th in the state with 14 assists. She also has scored 20 times. Anderson is tied for second in the state with seven victories.
