Berrettini: It s Nice For Tennis It s Not All Big 3 | ATP Tour

Italian star aiming to return to top form in Belgrade Matteo Berrettini, who is competing this week at the Serbia Open, says that it’s good that new names are beginning to lift ATP Masters 1000 titles. I think that it s a nice thing for tennis that it s not all the Big 3, said Berrettini in Belgrade. Even though the Slams are still a little bit [trickier to win]. But I think something s going to change even in the Slams. I think eventually it s going to happen. Not just because of the age [of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic], but because of experience, because these young guys are really good. It s something that helps me to get better too.

Grizzly bear attack near Yellowstone kills Montana backcountry guide

USA TODAY A Montana wilderness guide with a love for the outdoors died after he was mauled by a grizzly bear likely defending a moose carcass near Yellowstone National Park, wildlife officials said.   Charles Carl Mock, 40, was attacked last week while fishing north of West Yellowstone near a campground. Mock sustained significant scalp and facial injuries during the attack, the sheriff s office said in a statement. According to Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks, Mock was alone when the attack occurred, though he did have bear spray with him. It is unclear if he deployed the bear spray, the agency said.  Rescuers spent about 50 minutes searching for Mock before they located him. Mock was transported via a rescue toboggan and snowmobile then taken the hospital in Idaho Falls, the sheriff s office said.

Mektić and Pavić now have a 29-3 record in 2021.

Why Novak Djokovic Is Very Emotional In Belgrade | ATP Tour

The top seed will play Carballes Baena or Kwon in his opener When Novak Djokovic last competed at an ATP Tour event in Belgrade a decade ago, he had only won two Grand Slam titles and had not yet ascended to No. 1 in the FedEx ATP Rankings. Now an 18-time major winner and the record-holder for most weeks at World No. 1 in history (317), returning to his hometown to compete at this week’s Serbia Open is a special moment. “I get very emotional when I’m playing at home, when I’m representing my country,” Djokovic said. “We had this tournament from 2009 to 2012 and I won it two out of four years and I remember these moments very profoundly. Playing in front of family, friends, my people, you don’t get to experience that [often]. I only experienced that maybe a few times in my career, to actually play in my hometown, to actually play in front of my fans, to have that kind of support and backing. It’s definitely special.”
