The first Covid-19 vaccinations have been administered at Rowcroft Medical Centre in Stroud. Both Rowcroft and Beeches Green Health Centre have been named as two of Gloucestershire s community Covid-19 vaccination centres. Starting with people over 80, roll out of the vaccination programme will be expanded in the coming weeks and months to include other priority groups by age and people who are particularly vulnerable. People are being asked to wait for their GP surgery to contact them about arrangements and timings. Dr Jim Holmes, lead GP for community vaccinations at Rowcroft Medical Centre, said: “We are incredibly excited to be ready to vaccinate some of our most vulnerable and older patients in the battle against the pandemic.
