Rotary Club offering flag program
COSHOCTON - The Coshocton Rotary Club will be running its program where residents can lease a flag again this year.
Members of the club will place a 3 x5 flag on a 10 staff in a plastic anchor pipe in your yard for major holidays from Memorial Day to Veterans Day. The club picks up the flags and stores them when not in use. Deadline for first installation is May 14.
Cost is $25 and all proceeds will be used to support projects in the Coshocton community. Checks with your address and phone number can be mailed to the Coshocton Rotary Club, P.O. Officials looking for driver who left crash scene
COSHOCTON - The Coshocton County Sheriff s Office is investigating a traffic crash where the drive left the scene from approximately 7:17 p.m. Thursday in the 28000 block of County Road 93 in Adams Township.
Authorities said a 2003 Toyota sedan was traveling south when it went off the right side of the roadway and overcorrected coming back onto the road. It then went off the left side of the road, struck a tree and overturned. The sheriff s office said the driver left the scene prior to arrival of deputies in a UTV. The driver had not been located as of Friday morning.
