In August 2020, the two announced their collaboration and plans for a medical oncology/chemotherapy/infusion center at Ellis and projected that would open in the summer of 2021. Work to retrofit nearly 10,000 square feet of vacant space on the sixth floor of the main hospital at 1101 Nott St. has begun, and Ellis said Wednesday that the first patient is expected to be seen there in late August.
