The Tribal Council voted on June 9 to provide an immediate $7,000 in direct relief assistance to every Wiyot citizen. Congress has allocated Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds to tens of thousands of eligible states, local, territorial and Tribal governments. These allocations include: The Wiyot Tribe has been closely monitoring the global COVID-19 global pandemic. The Tribe continues to work with local, state, and federal agencies to reduce the likelihood of introduction of the virus into our communities.
