RWMC board meets to review various projects Islamabad April 22, 2021 Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) Chairman Colonel (r) Ajmal Sabir Raja on Wednesday said that the management would take stern action against all those employees who did not perform their duties properly. He expressed these views while chairing a meeting of Board of Directors of RWMC held at RWMC Head Office here. RWMC Managing Director Awais Manzoor Tarar, Board members Ghulam Abbas Khan, Iqbal Awan, Zahid Farooq, Amna Rafiq, Dr Ruhama Gill, Anil Peter and Mian Tahir Bashir also attended the meeting. While addressing the meeting, the chairman said that RWMC was committed for the cleanliness of Rawalpindi besides keeping strict check on attendance of workers.

‘PM’s Clean & Green Pakistan vision top priority of RWMC’ Islamabad April 2, 2021 Rawalpindi : Chairman of Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) Colonel (r) Ajmal Sabir Raja Thursday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan`s Clean and Green Pakistan vision was the first priority and the RWMC would further improve the sanitation system of Rawalpindi and its tehsils. He was addressing the introductory meeting at RWMC office here. On the occasion, a detailed presentation on the working and performance of the company was given to the RWMC Managing Director Awais Manzoor Tarar. About 950 tons of garbage was disposed of from Rawalpindi and Tehsils Murree, Taxila, Gujar Khan, Kahutta and Kallar Syedan on daily basis.

According to the sources, the Flight Safety Board, while banning the dumping of garbage at Noor Khan Airbase and adjoining areas, has also requested the citizens to avoid feeding kitchen scraps to the birds as there is a risk of them colliding with warplanes which can cause great damage.
