Madera, CA A man was captured and arrested in Madera for a homicide earlier this month in La Grange.
The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reports that 39-year-old Luis Cifuentes was arrested for killing 29-year-old Cayetano Duarte-Perez at a home on Highway 132. The male victim was located in the residence on April 4 after suffering multiple gunshot wounds.
Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, Deputy Nicco Sandelin, says, “Detectives quickly identified Cifuentes as the suspect in the case. Detectives were able to obtain a warrant for Cifuentes’s arrest, and search warrant for both his home and vehicle. La Grange, CA The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported homicide.
Details are limited, but the crime was reported Sunday afternoon at a home on Highway 132. Officials were notified of the murder, and deputies responded from the sheriff’s offices in both Tuolumne and Mariposa counties. A man’s body was located in the bedroom of a home. The victim had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The sheriff’s office reports, “Deputies are in the early stages of the investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the killing.”

TUOLUMNE COUNTY, Calif. The Tuolumne County Sheriff s Office is looking for answers after a homicide in La Grange over the weekend.
Deputies said they responded to a home on Highway 132 Sunday afternoon for a reported murder. Mariposa County deputies were already on scene with the person who reported the killing.
Arriving deputies searched the property and found a man s body in the bedroom of the home. Deputies said the body appeared to have multiple gunshot wounds.

Sonora, CA – A Jamestown man has not been heard from in over a week and police are turning to the public for help in locating him.
Take a good look at the man in the image box, as his family and Sonora Police, are asking anyone who may know his whereabouts or may have seen him recently in the Tuolumne or Calaveras County area to report it to detectives. He is Dylan Capperelli and has been missing since Tuesday, February 16th.
Capperelli was last seen in the Angels Camp area of Calaveras County, according to Sonora Police spokesperson Thomas Brickley, who relays a family member filed a missing person’s report on that day. Brickley added that Capperelli has ties to both Mother Lode counties as he lives in Jamestown but works in the Copperopolis area.
