Sonora, CA The Tuolumne Utilities District warns that there will be traffic delays on Racetrack Road today.
Crews will be installing sewer infrastructure between Snell Street and Bay Meadows Drive. Flaggers will be directing traffic and up to 10-minute delays can be expected. Travel with caution in the area. The work will run today from 7:30am until 3:30pm.

Ousted TUD General Manager Ed Pattison
Sonora, CA – The Tuolumne Utilities District (TUD) Board of Directors has voted to release its General Manager from his contract.
Thursday, after coming back from a closed session during a special meeting regarding whether to dismiss G.M. Ed Pattison, Board President Barbra Ballen revealed the decision.
“By a 3-1-1 vote, the board voted to terminate General Manager Ed Pattison’s contract without cause.”
The three in favor were Ballen, Board Vice President Ron Ringen and Director Lisa Murphy while Director Jeff Kerns voted against the firing and Director David Boatright abstained. That same vote by the board last Friday (March 26) put Pattison on paid administrative leave with his access privileges revoked, as reported here.

Tuolumne County, CA The Tuolumne Utilities District reports that it will be doing some maintenance work on the Twain Harte Interceptor on Crystal Falls Drive.
The work will take place today through Thursday between the hours of 8am-4pm. One way traffic control will result in delays up to 10 minutes. The specific area on Crystal Falls Drive is between Crystal Lake Court and Feather River Drive. Travel with caution in the area and try to avoid it if possible.
