FOND DU LAC – COVID-19 vaccines will be rolled out to portions of the public, beginning Jan. 27, in the city of Fond du Lac.
Fond du Lac County Health Department, in partnership with Emergency Management and Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds, will hold COVID-19 vaccination clinics specific for individuals age 65 and older on Jan. 27 at Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds Expo Center.
This marks another step into Phase 1b of the vaccine rollout. Police and fire personnel began receiving vaccines this week, Health Officer Kim Mueller said.
Currently, vaccine rollout is for those in Phase 1a and specific groups within Phase 1b. No other groups have been defined yet and information on the rest of Phase 1b eligibility will be shared as available, Mueller said.

âData for our country consistently indicates a high COVID-19 activity level and positive case rate, and testing capacity in the area has been increasingly strained,â said Kim Mueller, Fond du Lac County Health Officer. âBy partnering with the Wisconsin National Guard, we are now able to offer additional testing to help all those that need a test to get one.â
