Friday 30th April 2021 Share this page EPCR and the Rugby Football Union (RFU) are pleased to announce that the iconic Twickenham Stadium will host the 2021 Heineken Champions Cup and Challenge Cup finals with a limited number of fans permitted to attend both showpiece matches, in line with the UK government’s roadmap to recovery. Up to 10,000 spectators will be able to buy tickets for each game with the Challenge Cup decider scheduled for Friday, 21 May at 20.00 and the Heineken Champions Cup final going ahead on Saturday, 22 May at 16.45 (kick-offs local time). Both matches are subject to licences being granted by the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames.

From: The latest meeting of the Hammersmith Bridge Taskforce was held yesterday (29 April 2021). It was chaired by Transport Minister, Baroness Vere. Attendees included the Project Director Dana Skelley, plus representatives from the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham ( LBHF), the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, the Greater London Authority, Transport for London ( TfL) and the Port of London Authority. Dana Skelley, speaking on behalf of the Hammersmith Bridge Taskforce, said: At yesterday’s Taskforce we were joined by representatives from Fosters & Partners and COWI who provided an update on their proposal for a temporary truss structure. Early indication from the feasibility study suggests that the key benefit associated with the Foster/COWI proposal is the potential for the bridge to be reopened earlier to vehicles.

This Party is predicted to have most of its votes from the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (one of the Lib Dem s only stronghold in the country). She is the youngest candidate from the main parties and her Mantra is jobs(more available apprenticeships), homes (creating more affordable housing) and clean air.

Share and Care Collective: Brightening a community during a pandemic - Rebecca Nelmes STCS

There is no doubt that a large number of people have been affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and the impact on some families has been detrimental. During this time, many have had to rely on the kindness of strangers in order to get by and thus charity has been more important than ever. I was lucky enough to interview Sarah Haynes, a volunteer for the Share and Care collective, about the work that she has been doing.   During a lovely garden interview, Sarah and I discussed the collective and how it has impacted lives in our community. Inspired by football player and philanthropist Marcus Rashford, a group of local families started the Share and Care Collective last summer to help make sure that other households had enough food on the table. They then embarked on a search for local charities to support, and subsequently came across a local food bank, the Roehampton Community Box Project. This had started at the beginning of lockdown as the number of those in Roeham
