Black-led voluntary organisation The Village HQ CIC, led by New Initiatives Youth & Community Association have been given less than a month to wind down their operations and remove their possessions after 30 years of community service.
The organisation said a letter from the council was sent just before Christmas last year ordering them to ‘vacate 55 Willington Road SW9 9NB within 28 days’.
