Families will be informed through a SchoolMessenger notification should changes take place, the message stated. If in-person changes to remote learning in the new year, our team will be prepared to deploy technology based identified needs.

MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ONT. The London District Catholic School Board has announced what it will be renaming Jean Vanier Catholic Elementary School. Starting in Sept. 2021, the southwest London school will be called St. Rose of Lima Catholic Elementary School. Discussions about renaming the school began after an internal inquiry by L Arche International concluded its founder, Jean Vanier, sexually abused several women from 1970 to 2005. The report described Vanier s sexual relationships with six women as “manipulative and emotionally abusive.” In addition to the school, a research centre at King’s University College is named after Vanier, but that institution is also going through the process of changing its name.
