Lamborghini s insane glimpse at the future consists of a 63 unit run of its first-ever hybrid supercar, the Sian. The build slots were all bought up instantly after its reveal in September 2019 at the cost of $3.6 million each. It s an incredibly desirable car powered by Lamborghini s next-generation V12 engine with a 48-volt hybrid system based around a lithium-ion supercapacitor. As far as we can tell, that s the next best thing to a flux capacitor, and, according to Lamborghini, it s three times more powerful than a battery of the same weight.
As a result, the Lamborghini Sian has a combined output of 819 horsepower and is a preview of what will be powering Lamborghinis in the future. Right now, though, the first Sian has landed in the US, and Lamborghini Newport Beach documented it arriving at its dealership in California.
One year and three months after it was unveiled in the flesh at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Sian FKP 37 has finally touched down on U.S. soil. In addition to being the first hybrid Lambo entitled to wear a license plate, this model serves as a preview for the successor of the Aventador S.
First Lamborghini Sian In North America Has A Crazy Paint Job motor1.com 12/28/2020
It looks like a $3.6-million Jack-O -Lantern.
Being exceptionally wealthy must be nice, it means you can go out and buy any rare supercar or hypercar you want. In the case of one multi-millionaire (or maybe billionaire) from Newport Beach, California, the new Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 coupe is their vehicle of choice. And it looks absolutely bonkers in this orange and carbon fiber paint job.
Delivered to Lamborghini Newport Beach just before the holidays – a dealer that is no stranger to rare few-offs – this is the first Lamborghini Sian to land in North America. We ve seen some other examples at the factory in Italy and making their way to owners overseas, but this Sian will be the very first one that hits public roads in the US.
