Lafayette Crime Stoppers asking for help in art theft

Lafayette Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information about some stolen art.
Back in December we told you about the theft of some paintings from the studio of artist Herb Roe.
That theft is now the subject of a Lafayette Crime Stoppers post; the agency is offering up to $1,000 in cash as a reward for information that leads to solving the crime.
Someone took the art from the lobby/common area of 625 Garfield Street between Monday, December 21 and Thursday, December 23.

The Lafayette Parish Sheriffâs Office would like the publicâs assistance in locating a stolen Komatsu D21P Dozer.
The dozer was last seen on December 17, 2020 in a vacant lot located at 1305 Ambassador Caffery Parkway Lafayette, La.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the dozer is asked to contact the Lafayette Parish Sheriffâs Office Criminal Investigations Division at (337) 236-5636, Lafayette Crime Stoppers at (337) 232-TIPS or submit a tip on the Lafayette Sheriff App.
26-year-old Joseph Devoltz of Lafayette is accused of firing a rifle during an argument Tuesday afternoon and Lafayette Police need your help trying to catch him.
According to a press release, the incident happened in the 100 block of Hebert Road when the suspect allegedly fired several shots at a man and his three sons following an argument. None of the victims were injured, but their vehicle was damaged from the gunshots.
Devoltz is wanted for 4 counts of Attempted First Degree Murder.
