(WLFI)  One Greater Lafayette girl scout is bringing more accessibility to several local parks. Kids with disabilities will now be able to enjoy handicap-accessible swings. Up until this year, Tippecanoe County only had one park with a handicap-accessible swing. This also means up until this point, many kids in this community went without enjoying the parks as other kids could but now that s all changing.

(WLFI) - West Lafayette Mayor John Dennis confirmed with News 18 that City Councilor Norris Wang passed away. He died Sunday afternoon at the age of 65. The cause of death has not been confirmed. He was re-elected to represent the sixth district as a Republican in 2019 for a second term. He was the only Republican on the West Lafayette City Council. Wang also previously served as a magistrate judge and a deputy prosecuting attorney in Tippecanoe County, according to his LinkedIn.
