The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebonyi State has said that education, healthcare and other social welfare sectors will be prioritised by the government in no distant future.
PDP Ebonyi State Chapter through its spokesperson, Barr. Silas Onu, disclosed this on Thursday while felicitating children as they mark the 2021 Children’s Day.
Onu, who noted that children represent greater tomorrow, prayed to God to keep all children safe and healthy to see that leadership can be productive and have direct bearing on the lives of individuals.
Onu, then charged them never to lose hope for a better tomorrow even as he urged them to focus on education as a key to unlocking their great potentials.

Amidst speculations on likely scrap of the National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) scheme, the Federal Government (FG), on Wednesday, said dynamic reforms and initiatives in view of current initiatives were ongoing.
This was even as it reiterated commitment to the sustenance of the scheme.
A bill seeking to repeal the NYSC Act had, on Monday, scaled second reading at the House of Representatives on the premise of incessant killings of Corps members among other reasons.

Samuel Ajibola of the popular TV series The Johnsons on Africa Magic has officially announced he is quitting the show.
He is most popular for his role as “Spiff” in the Nigerian family sitcom series.
Announcing his exit from the show, on Tuesday, via his Twitter handle @Realsamajibola, he said: “It’s difficult to let go but it’s time to officially announce on this platform as I quit my role as Spiff in The Johnsons.
Thanks to everyone for your undying support and love, I couldn’t have asked for more.
I’ve got time on my hands and not much on my side, I’ve to move on.”
