The Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS related Abuses and Lekki Toll Gate incident has summoned the former spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command, Dolapo Badmus.
Ms. Badmus was summoned after a petitioner, Olajide Fowotade alleged that the ex-spokesperson is aware of an offence committed against him by a member of the defunct SARS.
During his submission to the panel on Saturday, Mr. Fowotade said Ms Badmus reached out to him after a media report on the offence committed on him by the police officer he identified as Ayo Odudu.

Mrs Olamide Erinfolami, widow of the late Inspector Ayodeji Erinfolami, who was shot on the stomach on October 12 in the Surulere area of Lagos during the #EndSARS protest, has pleaded for justice over her husband’s killing.
The widow, who appeared on Friday before the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry probing allegations of rights abuses by the police, said she believed that her husband was shot by one of his fellow policemen.
Led in evidence by her lawyer, Mr Gbemiga Ogunleye, Olamide told the retired Justice Doris Okuwobi-led panel that though the Lagos State Government gave the family N10m compensation, “money cannot buy our joy.”

A widow, of a slain policeman, Mrs Olamide Erinfolami Bankole, yesterday accused the police of killing for her husband, late Inspector Ayodeji Erinfolami Bankole, during the #EndSARS protest.
She said that her husband was murdered by the police while trying to quell the #EndSARS protest.
Bankole who was led in evidence in chief by her counsel Gbemiga Ogunleye, told the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Enquiry and Restitution for Victims of Special Anti- Robbery Squad (SARS) related abuses and other matters, that she spoke with her husband on phone, on the day of the incident before he left for work.
