On June 5, John Obafunwa, chief pathologist at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), told the panel that 99 corpses were received at the state morgue between October 20 and 24, 2020.
Obafunwa also noted that three of the corpses, which were male, came from the Lekki axis of the state, while the remaining 96 came from other parts of the state including Surulere, Ikorodu, Ajah, Fagba, among others.
Yinka Olumide-Fusika, a counsel to some #EndSARS protesters, had said the pathologist’s report that only three dead bodies were brought in from Lekki is not true.

The panel then ordered that the pathologist should produce the post-mortem examination reports to verify his testimony.
