Odumosu reported on Thursday, March 4, 2021 that
Inspector Atim Umoh had approached the residence of
Adeyemi Abayomi to follow up on a complaint on Tuesday morning when she was attacked.
One
Nneka Regina had earlier reported at the Surulere Division that Abayomi was illegally occupying her property, and also accused him of threatening her life.
The suspect allegedly released and ordered his dogs to attack officers when they approached the residence at 115, Itire Road.
Odumosu ordered that the man be prosecuted, and his dogs picked up for further action.
He also directed the Police medical team to monitor the treatment and health condition of the inspector who suffered bodily injuries.

The General Manager of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, Olajide Oduyoye, has blamed Lagos residents for encouraging the activities of Keke and Okada in the state by patronising them despite the ban of the two and three-wheeler vehicles from the majority of the state’s roads.
Oduyoye who was guest to Lagos Traffic Radio 96.1FM on Tuesday said the activities of the motorcycles and tricycles on Lagos road were a big challenge LASTMA.
He said, “Regarding the rise in Keke Marwa and Okada usage, even though they are banned on certain roads, the argument that I can make is that the Okada and Keke Marwa cannot force anyone into their vehicles.

Contrary to expectation on the free flow of traffic following the commencement of Call-Up system for port operations, Oshodi-Apapa Expressway has been on a total lockdown as fuel tankers and containerized vehicles parked indiscriminately along the road.
This happened as Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, vowed to publicly mention the names of prominent Nigerians behind the gridlock situation in Apapa and environs.
Recall that barely 72 hours into the commencement of the new Call-Up System on Saturday, February 27, 2021, into the administration of port operations introduced by the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, Lagos State Special Traffic Management Enforcement Team has expressed determination to sustain the new order in Apapa and environs as gridlock eases off.
