Residents Narrate How Kidnappers Den Was Discovered In Lagos, Police Begin Investigation The OPC members entered the tunnel only to find some human parts and many male and female clothing. by SaharaReporters, New York Jan 09, 2021 The police have begun an investigation into the discovery of a tunnel in Orile area of Lagos State, allegedly to be used by ritualists.  The news went around the densely-populated Orile and its environs on Wednesday that dismembered human parts discovered inside the School Bus Stop tunnel. Two persons, alleged to be ritualists, were said to have been found with human parts. One of them, whose identity could not be ascertained, was burnt to death by a mob.

Punch Newspapers Sections Kayode Oyero The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has said the 1,250 special constabulary officers newly deployed to boost security in different parts of the state won’t bear arms. “For now, there is no provision for that. But everything in life is subject to change; maybe later there will be a law that will back that but for now, there is no provision for them to carry arms,” the PPRO stated this in an interview with The PUNCH on Wednesday. He also said the officers deployed on Tuesday by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, would be attached to divisional headquarters in all of the state’s 20 local government areas.

Police caution media against speculations into Dapo Ojora’s death On Kindly Share This Story: The Commissioner of Police,  Lagos State Command, Hakeem Odumosu, has cautioned the media to avoid speculations as to what might have led to the death of one Dapo Ojora, a socialite in the state. Ojora was alleged to have shot himself in the head in his Lagos residence on Friday, Dec. 11, 2020,  a statement by the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said on Saturday. Ojora was a Polo Buff and one of the sons of society patriarch, Otunba Adekunle Ojora. He was also an in-law of former Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
