China donates mobile hospital to Argentina - Land Warfare

The Argentinian MoD has received 13 Kangfei BLAT30EX14V trucks donated by China. The vehicles work as a mobile hospital and feature first aid equipment, X-ray, biochemical laboratory and sterilisation system. The Argentinian MoD has announced the arrival of 13 Kangfei BLAT30EX14V trucks donated by China. The vehicles work as a mobile hospital and will be used to face natural disasters and health crisis. The trucks feature first aid equipment, X-ray, biochemical laboratory and sterilisation system according to the national MoD. The vehicles were handed over on 11 February under the framework of cooperation between Argentina and China. China also donated four Dongfeng Warrior CSK131 vehicles to Argentina in 2018 as a free military aid package intended to assist with providing security for the G20 summit, according to Shephard Defence Insight.

Lockheed Martin UK appoints new CEO, Paul Livingston Lockheed Martin has announced the appointment of a new chief executive to lead its UK business, Paul Livingston. Livingston (above), currently vp and group managing director of the company’s UK Rotary and Mission Systems business, will assume his new role on 1 April. The current CEO, Peter Ruddock, is to retire after five years in the post. “During his time as chief executive Peter Ruddock (right) has successfully underpinned Lockheed Martin’s position as a trusted partner not only for the UK’s defence and security, but for the national aerospace supply chain and the UK economy too,” said Livingston.

You will need a broad knowledge of orchestrating systems solutions in a military environment, someone who thinks of all the possibilities and can be ten steps ahead – considering customer requirements and developing them into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost costraints. Ideally you will have experience of implementing Test Frameworks and Automation tools, model based engineering and be ISTB qualified. You will also need experience of qualifying software to Safety Integrity levels (SIL2, DO-168) and defining and monitoring sub-contract test activities; but this role requires more than technical ability.
