The average at the 100-day stage for the 14 presidents from Truman to Biden is 66 percent, according to previous ABC/ Post polls. Only Ford in 1974 whose rating fell to 48 percent following his unpopular pardon of Richard Nixon and Donald Trump at 42 percent, scored lower than Biden at this stage in their respective presidencies. President Biden will have been in office 100 days on Friday, April 30.

ABC News poll finds 52% Biden approval rating for 1st 100 days WASHINGTON, DC A slight majority of Americans support President Joe Biden and his initiatives for his first 100 days in office, but are skeptical about his handling of immigration at the border, according to a new ABC News/Washington Post poll released Sunday. Overall, 52 percent of adults say they approve of the job Biden is doing, compared with 42 percent who disapprove. At this point in his presidency four years ago, Donald Trump’s rating was nearly the reverse, with approval at 42 percent and disapproval at 53 percent. The poll found an intense partisan divide is keeping Biden s 100-day job approval rating lower than any recent past presidents except Trump in 2017 (42%) and Gerald Ford in 1974 (48%).
