OTTAWA – The LaSalle County Health Department announced that they will be adjusting their services offered to help ensure speedy vaccine delivery in North Central Illinois. Starting this week, Tuesdays and Thursdays at the department will no longer have TB services, flu shots or other immunizations or COVID-19 testing at their Ottawa office. Instead, those services will be available Monday, Wednesday and Fridays only, with additional COVID-19 testing by appointment available Saturday morning.

OGLESBY – The COVID-19 “By Appointment Only” Vaccination Clinic at Illinois Valley Community College for Tuesday has been rescheduled due to the winter storm. The LaSalle County Health Department announced that those with appointments that the event has been moved to Tuesday, February 9 at the same time and location. They ask that you hold on to the ticket you have received and further instructions will be emailed to you closer to the rescheduled clinic date.
Individuals will receive an additional email – please remember to check your spam and junk folders – which will contain an updated ticket link. For those who choose not to print a new ticket, please know that your original ticket (1/26/21) will work at the rescheduled February 9

OTTAWA – The LaSalle County Health Department was notified of two additional COVID-19 related deaths and 56 new coronavirus cases in LaSalle County on Friday. The individuals are a male in his 80’s and a female in her 80’s. There have been a total of two hundred fifty-three COVID-19 related deaths in LaSalle County. The Health Department would like to extend their deepest condolences to the families.
