Ashton Alana McCluskey, 27, was arrested by the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday and released on a $50,000 bond
McClusky has been charged with two felony counts of Sexual Conduct With a Student under the age of 17
She has also been ordered not to have any contact with the alleged victim, the relative of a Sheriff s Office employee
McClusky faces a sentence between 2 to 20 years and a permanent ban on her teaching license

A Tuscumbia man is in trouble for taking a nude photo of a woman without her consent and then posting it to his Facebook page.
James Carl Hancock from Tuscumbia was arrested in nearby Franklin County after the victim swore out warrants against him. He s charged with distributing a private image, which falls under Alabama s revenge porn laws passed in 2017.
In this case, Hancock was only charged with a misdemeanor.

PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WDAM) - The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office released the names of four homicide victims and the suspect, who died Tuesday after a pursuit through Lamar County by law enforcement.
WTOK reported that the sheriff’s office identified the victims as 64-year-old Beverly Kaiser Fulton, 39-year-old April Fulton Tucker, 14-year-old Bryce Fisher Tucker and 90-year-old Virginia Jay.
