DUI
LITITZ: Clayton J. Brantner, 22, of Annville, was charged with driving under the influence after officers were called to the 300 block of North Broad Street for a vehicle that had crashed into a tree on Feb. 9, at 12:54 a.m., police said. Brantner was the driver of the vehicle and had a blood alcohol content of 0.182%, police said.Â
STRANGULATION, SIMPLE ASSAULT
LITITZ: Barry Lee Jeffries, 62, of Lititz, was charged with strangulation, simple assault and harassment after officers were called to the 600 block of Kissel Hill Road for a disturbance on Feb. 10, at 10:16 p.m., police said. Jeffies pushed, shoved and grabbed a 57-year-old woman and then choked her and placed a sock in her mount, police said.
DUI
CHRISTIANA: Meredith L. Guiney, 38, was charged with DUI and multiple other traffic offenses after she was seen driving her vehicle over a sidewalk in the first block of West Slokom Avenue at 7 p.m. on Oct. 25, police said. Guiney, who failed a failed sobriety test, was driving without her headlights on and parked directly across from the police department, police said.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
CHRISTIANA: Jacob Fletcher, 19, of Christiana, was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and one other charge after he took the keys to a car without permission and crashed it in West Sadsbury Township on Jan. 1, police said.
FLEEING AN OFFICER
EAST EARL TWP.: Nicholas Chase Criss, 18, of East Earl, was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and other traffic violations after he led police on a brief vehicle pursuit just after midnight on Jan. 29, police said. Officers were attempting to pull over Criss, who does not have a valid driverâs license, after he blew past a stop sign on Toddy Drive near Springville Road, police said.

THEFT
EAST LAMPETER TWP.: An unidentified man picked up a wallet that had been dropped at a Walmart on 2034 Lincoln Highway East at around 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 28 and drove away without making any attempt to return it, police said.
BURGLARY
EAST COCALICO TWP.: Kyle E. Smith, 19, of Mountville, and Sebastian Cndelario, 19, of Blandon, were charged with multiple counts of burglary, theft and criminal mischief after breaking into ST Nails salon in the 900 block of North Reading Road just after 2 a.m. on Sept. 20 and taking about $500 in cash, police said. The two then attempted to break into another business but were scared off by an alarm system, police said.
DRUG CHARGES
EAST COCALICO TWP.: Justin R. Monick, 26, of West Lawn, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia after authorities were called to the 2500 block of North Reading Road on Jan. 21 at 9:44 p.m. for a report of a man running down the road yelling for help, police said. Officers found Monick, who claimed there were âspirits in the (hotel) room,â police said.
