Claire Miller, 14, is charged with homicide in the death of her older sister, Helen, according to Manheim Township Police. She called police shortly after 1 a.m. Monday and told them she had killed her sister.

Eric Bieber, chief deputy of the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office, previously confirmed the body was identified as Benjamin M. Shambaugh of Mechanicsburg. The 36-year-old had died by freshwater drowning, but the manner of death was not released at the time. On Wednesday, Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni told LancasterOnline that Shambaugh’s death has been ruled accidental. Shambaugh’s body was found around 10:36 a.m. Jan. 15, by a fisherman near Koser Park in Conoy Township, Susquehanna Regional Police previously reported.

Ephrata resident Jeremy Martin was driving on the 300 block of East Church Street around 10:45 p.m. when he veered off the highway and hit a large tree, police said. Martin was pronounced dead by the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office. Police do not believe drugs and alcohol were contributing factors to the crash.
