Solano Volunteers, Tri-City NAACP partner for blood drive
SUISUN CITY Solano Volunteers and the Tri-City NAACP will partner with the American Red Cross to host a community blood drive in recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day and National Blood Donor Month during the month of January.
“Donors of all blood types are urged to give now to help the Red Cross maintain the blood supply,” said Rhonda Smith, Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit’s Solano Volunteers Program Coordinator, in a news release. “Medical conditions and emergencies don’t stop for a pandemic, seasonal illnesses, or winter weather.”
