A Lambton County council committee wants to know the price tag of spraying all areas of the county currently suffering outbreaks of gypsy moth caterpillars.
The committee recommended this week that staff seek a cost estimate for countywide aerial spraying of impacted areas in time for consideration during March’s county budget talks. The committee’s recommendation will be considered by county council when it meets in early February.

“I think the county should take on the job of spraying all the land” impacted across Lambton, said Sarnia Coun. Margaret Bird.
Lambton Heritage Museum has a new exhibit.
The museum is hosting Memories of Rural Life until April 10th.
Annie McLaughlin’s paintings illustrate life on the family farm in the past century and remind us of the importance of preserving our rural heritage.
