Woman accused of robbing Lloydminster hotel at gunpoint released on bail

Dillon was released on conditions including a curfew from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Dillon, along with Rocky Wuttunee and Jade Whitstone are charged in connection to the robbery at the hotel on March 29. Police say they fled in one of the victim’s vehicles. Wuttunee was arrested in April and RCMP released Dillon’s photo asking the public for help locating her. She was arrested in May. A preliminary hearing for Dillon and Wuttunee is scheduled in Lloydminster Provincial Court for Dec. 2. Whitstone is still wanted by police. The charges against the accused haven’t been proven in court.

Trials set for alleged gang members accused of shooting at police

Chief and four others (Twaine Derek Buffalo-Naistus, Danny Lee Weeseekase, Tyler Ryan Wolfe, and Melissa Lee McAlpine) were arrested after allegedly shooting at the RCMP during a pursuit on Onion Lake Cree Nation Jan. 1, 2021. Chief is charged with discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life, being an occupant of a vehicle knowing there was a firearm, careless use of a firearm, possession of a firearm without a license, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a prohibited weapon, and assault of a police officer with a weapon. Holm said he expects there to be 14 witnesses. North Battleford legal aid lawyer Cameron Schmunk represents Chief.
