11 new cases in Greenup

Thursday’s release consisted of cases tallied over the last two days. Seven females, ages 18, 25, 41, 44, 56, 66 and 77, and four males, ages 15, 18, 59 and 60, tested positive. There have been 3,652 confirmed cases involving Greenup County residents, including 3,514 recoveries and 58 COVID-positive deaths. Carter County’s health department announced two more cases on Thursday, pushing the count to 2,229 — 2,180 have recovered and 33 Carter County residents have died after having tested positive. The Lawrence County (Ky.) Health Department listed seven cases on Thursday’s report, which included cases from the past four days. It announced another COVID-positive death, the county’s 28th.

7 new cases in Greenup over 2 days

The Greenup County Health Department announced six new cases on Tuesday and one more case of COVID-19 on Wednesday. The newest patients range in age from 16 to 57. There are 97 active cases in Greenup County. The Carter County Health Department reported zero additional cases on Wednesday, leaving the county’s tally at 2,213 — just 60 cases are active. The Ashland-Boyd County Health Department will release its next report on Friday, which will include cases from Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The Lawrence County (Ky.) Stock The Ashland-Boyd County Health Department announced seven new cases of COVID-19 involving county residents on its Monday report, which consisted of cases from Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The health department has tallied 4,751 confirmed cases, including 3,044 recoveries and 74 COVID-positive deaths. The newest patients range in age from 18 to 56. The next release from the health department will be issued on Friday. The Greenup County Health Department listed four new cases on its Monday report, which included Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Greenup County’s coronavirus case count is 3,613 — 3,463 have recovered and 58 have died after having tested positive.
